maybe he's referring to people who have bad trips, those who overdose,
or who become addicts. if that's what brian's talking about, then the
answer is this: we do a hell of a lot more than any church. we do
whatever the situation demands for our "failures". sometimes that means
you sit and talk to the person for hours; sometimes you just hold them
tight and let them know that the world's not as cold and judgemental as
the christian church teaches. sometimes you have to call an ambulance
for a person. and most importantly, there are times when you need to
leave someone the hell alone.
as drug users, we know that there are dangers to what we do; thus, we
look out for each other. we aren't judgemental, and we care about the
welfare of our fellow "drug people". if someone needs help, we give it.
if they don't, we respect that too.
